The community was pleased to welcome Rachel, Alex, and Megan, students from Louisiana State University and Kolbe, a seminarian for the diocese of Baton Rouge. When they were in DC for the Right to Life March in January, they happened to meet Br. Ignacio, who told them about St. Anselm’s. Since they have friends at Christendom College and in DC, they decided to come back during their Mardi gras holiday and asked for hospitality. It was edifying that they were able to join us for prayer, Mass, community meals and recreations. It is especially encouraging to see young people who are serious about their faith and willing to be witness to the Good News of the gospels. May God bless them in all their endeavors to grow in wisdom, service and love of the Lord and his Church.
