St. Anselm’s hosted the spring meeting for members of Region IV of the National Religious Vocation Conference (NRVC). Abbot James and Fr. Christopher, Vocation Director, joined the co-chairpersons, Fr. Donald Heet, OSFS and Sr. Sue Weetenkamp, RSM, and five others from different congregations during the midmorning to early afternoon sessions. There was a review of last year’s joint effort to engage fifth graders at Catholic schools on a vocations day in Baltimore, and an open forum for suggestions for joint venture activities that this Region could initiate and organize in the coming year. Regional members will meet again in May for an overnight retreat for a review of last year and for planning for meetings, speakers, and vocation events in the coming year.
