The community was happy to offer hospitality to Fr. Ralph Wright, Br. Hugh Goossens, OSBs, and five students from St. Louis Priory School, who came to participate in the Right to Life March. They arrived a day early in order to be able to attend the Mass at the Basilica of the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception with several thousand people the night before the March.
We were also able to offer hospitality to Fr. Paul Sheller, OSB, from Conception Abbey in northwestern Missouri and eight seminarians from the Abbey Seminary. Their stay was brief because of the long travel time, arriving only in time for the night Mass and the next day March. After the March some took the opportunity to visit the Holocaust Museum and other sites. We thank the visitors from both groups for being good guests and for their bearing witness that every life matters.
