Br. Cyprian Morales

Br. Cyprian finished his primary and secondary education in Aurora and then took some courses at a nearby community college while also being the principal caregiver for his mother until her death in 2015. He then lived for some years with his sister and her husband, most recently in Stafford, Virginia while being employed at that city’s Walmart store. He was accepted as a postulant at St. Anselm’s toward the end of 2020 and was clothed as a novice on February 3, 2022. During his years at the abbey he has worked at the various tasks normally assigned to novices, such as assisting with the care of older monks, helping in the kitchen, and serving as assistant sacristan.
