An exhibit of the art of Fr. Stephen Reid, a monk of our community who died in 1989, has been opened on the crypt level of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and will be there until June 5. Most of the pieces are sculptures, but there are also a few paintings and some information about his life. An excellent illustrated catalogue of Fr. Stephen’s art, written by Bruce Nixon, has been published and can be purchased in the Shrine’s bookstore. We hope that many readers of our website will be able to visit this fine exhibit.
